Coal and Quarry Miner’s Exchange Becomes Part of Coal News

The monthly publication Coal and Quarry Miner’s Exchange has been acquired by the publisher, Coal News, Inc., according to a joint announcement by the companies.

Coal and Quarry Miner’s Exchange has for thirty years been the go-to resource that operators and purchasing agents use to find the equipment and services that they need. Coal News, Inc. are publishers of the foremost online newsletter The combined resources of the new online version of Coal Miner’s Exchange and will complement each other.

“We are delighted to become part of, who have exciting plans to digitize Coal and Quarry Miner’s Exchange to better serve our thousands of readers,” said Tom Foster, the recent former President of Coal and Quarry Miner’s Exchange, who will become a consultant to the company. “The cost of shipping our monthly print editions around the country has become prohibitive and the new digital version produced by Coal News will allow advertisers to get their message across with greater speed and more effectiveness.”

As a further service to the coal industry, was launched in 2008 and has established itself as coal’s foremost digital newsletter.
